Citra is a dual-purpose hop with a floral, citrusy, tropical fruit aroma and flavour. It is typically used as an aroma hop, but due to its high alpha % and low cohumulone content, it makes an excellent bittering hop as well. Citra is often used in IPA and pale ale style beers.
