FermZilla 55L Tri-Conical Starter Kit - Generation 3.0

Introducing the Gen3 FermZilla Tri-Conical. Now with 3 Inch Tri-Clover ferrule molded into the tank and redesigned tri-clover dump valve. This unit was born from customer feedback we received on the Gen2 Model. No more complicated dump valve designs here, just simplicity. Brew with confidence on the new Tri-Clamp FermZilla Range.

Note: currently on special because the pressure test date is approaching.

The new FermZilla is a revolution in home brewing allowing home brewers and small micro-breweries a level of control that meets everyone's budget.  With the FermZilla you have many of the benefits of a much more expensive stainless conical fermenter but with the additional benefit of being able to see the fermentation process in action and also ferment at pressures up to 2.4bar.
This is an incredible product at an extremely attractive price point in all the different sizes and models.

The FermZilla 55L Tri-Conical can be used in the following ways:

  • Basic Gravity Fermenter - New Brewers
  • Pressure Brewing Kit - Most Popular
  • Hop Bong Pressure Kit - For Intermediate Brewers
  • Glycol Twister Pressure Brewing Kit - Glycol Obsessed

What's new the difference between Gen2 and Gen3?
1. Molded 3 inch tri-clamp ferrule in the body of the FermZilla tank
2. 3 inch to 2 inch tri-clamp Butterfly Valve
3. 2 inch tri-clamp compatible Collection Container

Is it easier to clean / take apart than the Gen2?
YES, It is by far the easiest Conical PET fermenter to disassemble and clean into all the nooks and crannies. Simply release all pressure inside the vessel and detatch the tri clover clamps.

Warnings:
Please read the instructions thoroughly before use.

  • The current version can be found in the 'instructions' tab above. We will not be held liable for misuse or mishandling of the unit contrary to the instructions.
  • Keeping the units out of direct sunlight is a must for all PET fermenters. Sunlight degrades PET.
  • Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 35°C and pressure ferment past 5psi at these temperatures.

Please note:
When using this vessel under pressure. You must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof before you fill the fermenter every time. To do this. Fill your FermZilla up with some water, then apply a minimum of 15psi pressure to the vessel. Check for leaks around all Cap / Threads by tipping it upside down, in all directions where there are risks of leakage.

Occasionally these units may come with some small indentations/dimples/dents from shipping, this is just a reality of shipping large blow-moulded thin-walled vessels. But don't panic, these fermenters are designed to endure minor deformations such as this. This was a necessary implementation into the design so that they can withstand some accidental suction from cold crashing and rough handling in transit without compromising their integrity and ability to endure high pressures. All small dents will push out and settle with use and positive pressure and are only an issue and warrant replacement in the rare event they start to show white stress patterns or have damaged the plastic.
