Flaked or Rolled Rice is an unmalted adjunct that provides additional body, with a clean taste. It does not have the enzymes needed for conversion so should be mashed with malted grains. Use for up to 20% of your grain bill, or as you recipe recommends. Often used for Rice Lagers, Light Lagers, Brut IPAs, Cold IPAs, and sometimes English ales.
