German Ale II yeast - a great strain for clean ales such as kölsch, altbier, and German-style pale ales. It has a strong sulfur component that will reduce with conditioning. Lager-like in flavour, this strain ferments clean and produces subdued fruity esters which are more present than WLP029 German/Kölsch Ale Yeast.
