Caramunich type 2 malt adds increased fullness, heightened malt aroma, mouthfeel, deep saturated colour. It is recommended to use up to 5% in lighter beers, and up to 20% in darker beers. It is often used for oktoberfest, bock, porter, stout, red ale, amber ale beers. Type 2 is a slightly darker version of type 1 and is the most popular of the Caramunich Malts.
